Having just celebrated Independence Day, we are mindful of the many blessings of freedom and the elective process that citizens can still participate in. Candidate Craig Fletcher of the 5th Assembly District uses myriad techniques to meet and talk with the constituency of the 5th District.
Not only does Fletcher walk or bicycle through the district, knocking on 400 doors per week, he also stands on street corners to generate more contacts, inspire conversations, and be a visible sign of dedication, devoting himself completely to the task of personally campaigning for office. It is as Fletcher says, “a humbling experience.” The real principle that the candidate is a servant of the people, and not the other way around, really comes home to the candidate out on the street.
Whether it’s a busy street corner in Freedom, or a residential neighborhood in Kaukauna, Fletcher can be seen on a daily basis working for your vote. He clearly demonstrates that his continued dedication can be counted on if elected to the Wisconsin State Legislature to ensure all the freedoms this nation codified in the U.S. Constitution and to help protect Wisconsin citizenry from heavy-handed encroachments of a bureaucratic government that is out of control.
If you see Craig Fletcher on a corner, at a café, at your door, or at a parade, don’t hesitate to seek him out, ask him questions, and let him know your thoughts on topics concerning Wisconsin politics.
